Rihanna has featured on the front cover of the March edition of Vogue magazine.
The singing sensation showed off her cropped pixie hairstyle and wore a black, semi-sheer sequined top and sequin-encrusted jeans.
In the interview, she revealed how as a teenager she often dressed like a boy, not wearing what her mother requested.†
"I was very much a boy in my style, my demeanor. All my friends were guys. I loved things that boys did. It was my way of rebelling," the 25-year-old explained.
She added how her brother's dress sense was an inspiration for her and that, after a while, it was easier for her mother to have them wear the same clothes.†
Rihanna revealed: "If Iím wearing a top, I donít wear a bra. If Iím wearing a bra, I just wear a bra."
The Bajan singer claimed she was willing to tolerate pain if it meant she could wear her most fashionable clothes and accessories, such as her four-inch Yves Saint-Laurent boots.
This is Rihanna's third cover for Vogue, having featured before in the April 2011 and November 2012 issues.†
